Introduction

The School previously known as Maria Montessori Happy Home was founded in the year 1978 at Ramnagar started in a rented building. The founder of the school Late Mr. K.B.L. Srivastava, a psychologist be educationist, who devoted his life to the cause of education. And so, in the year 1984 the org. GREAT MISSION EDUCATION SOCIETY OF INDIA came into being. Happy Home was renamed as GREAT MISSION PUBLIC SCHOOL. GREAT MISSION PUBLIC SCHOOL, Himmatpur Block, Ramnagar (Nainital) stands on main road in between Ramnagar & Kashipur 10 to 15 minutes ride from both the places.

Site & Surroundings

It is perhaps most prominent and beautiful children’s school building, with an imposing frontage of 300 feet long, has been specially erected for educational purposes Situated in a very natural surroundings, the school commands an extensive view of mountain, green fields and forests. The smiling dawns and glorious sunsets turn the school into an idyllic site. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and inspiring to our young learners. The school has more than two acres of play ground for games, sports, physical training, yoga & gymnastics. The school has a well equipped play centre for our young kids.

Our Mission

We will expose our children to a world of co-cultural learning that takes place outside the classroom so that every child gets the opportunity to take up a sport, an activity, an art form, and make informed decisions. This will teach them to be self-reliant and independent. We will train them to respect our Indian culture, traditions, heritage as well as spread the message of world peace wherever they go.
