Dear parents, students and well wishers, I take this opportunity to greet you with immense joy, appreciation and gratitude for your love and support. Great Mission Public School has been at your service for over 22 years. This is not just a school but is a family in which the Educational community, the Management, staffs, students and parents work actively to foster this family spirit. This entire atmosphere of GMPS is permeated by this spirit, which promotes love, justice, peace, collaboration and cooperation leading to a human family of trust, harmony and brotherhood. This guiding spirit has helped us to make a deep impact in creating GOOD WILL among all sections of society.
We all know that the real goal of education is not to create people who understand only the language of technology, it should be to also impart a culture of the heart based on spiritual values. Tomorrow’s world will be shaped by today’s children. In their tender minds it is easy to cultivate universal human values.
The teaching of universal spiritual principles and human values should be a standard part of general education. As an inclusive school GMPS creates a lot of opportunities for the students to excel not only in classroom activities but also in sports & games.
“children must be taught how to think, not what to think” and to enable this, our motto of knowledge, imagination and innovation is encouraged through a holistic approach” “TO MOTIVE THE WEAK TO ADDRESS THE AVERAGE AND CHALLENGE THE GIFTED” is the teaching vision of our school. A committed, supportive and dedicated teachers, caring and co-operative parents blend harmoniously to create a child- centric school. It is natural to find in this ambience, the intensive use of a variety of thinking activities, strategies and group dynamics so that the classroom becomes alive. Teamwork is the hallmark of GMPS. I am very sure through collaborative effort we can achieve more to benefit our students who are the future leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you for choosing GMPS for your child. Our school is committed to give its public a solid foundation with good knowledge in pleasurable environment. It will be our privilege to make your ward’s transition to our school smooth and enjoyable and we look forward to enriching your ward’s learning years with fun and interactive education. GMPS is committed to provide your ward’s best education, as well as good communication skills, capable for decision and manner that play a significant role in development of personality.Quality education in the present day context is doubtlessly a monumental task which can be accomplished only with the involvement and commitment of both the parents and the teachers. Preparing the child to face life in the competitive world is a joint effort of the parents and teachers. In ward of woodworth “Child is the father of man.”He mirrors the possibility of an adult. I have often believed that a healthy childhood leads to a decent world of adults. Born in a world of competition, today’s child has everything going against him. The child learns most from observation. He observes his teachers, his parents, his brothers, sisters and fashions his existence on their model.
As responsible adults engaged in the task of social engineering, we must not forget our subtle yet far reaching influence on the psyche and habit of a young mind. A meeting with parents and teachers to rededicate themselves to this very important task of theirs. A meeting is one small step that we shall take towards a meaningful tomorrow. Tread but carefully, hold but lovingly the finger of your child, guide without aggression this young generation towards tomorrow for it is they who matter it is in their happiness that our achievement lies.
Our school follows an policy and we like to interact regularly with parents during Parents- Teachers meeting. Second Saturday of every months, I would like to personally meet you if you have any queries regarding the development of child. GMPS aims to develop a good sense of discipline and moral values within the even- changing social norms of society. Children these days are much more sensitive the process very high self esteem, ego and believe in independent thinking. Therefore, we ensure that the approach to motivate and getting the best out of children is based on the positive reinforcement of good work and good behaviour.
As a principal of this great institute, I feel a sense of satisfaction and pride. When our parents who hold respectable positions in society come to us to enroll their wards at Great Mission Public School, our school has been fortunate enough to enjoy in large measure of co- operation between the parents who is the first teacher and teacher who is the second parent. With this strong bond, the hard work if our responsible and well disciplined students, the school has been achieving almost 100% success in all scholastics and co- curricular activities. We are thankful to everyone who assists us in the smooth functioning of the school.
